About This Project

Moses Island

A conceptual project developed while at university for installation at cannop ponds, Forrest of Dean.

The concept being to provide a close and interactive sense of entering the water and down to a ‘sunken island’ with picnic table and seating at the centre.

Water gently overflows over the top water retaining walls and recirculates back into the water course via river pebble filled gullies situated around the bottom of the walls.

Not a project that was realised, but ideas are there to be re-cycled!
